GOLD at the Cornwall Tourism Awards!

Awards & Prizes |

We’re thrilled to share that the museum scooped Gold in the ‘Small Visitor Attraction of the Year’ category at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2025, proving the enduring value of culture and connection.

This award feels like an important milestone for Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery, as we continue our journey of transformation. One of our aims is to be a catalyst for positive change, and helping bring visitors in to Cornwall’s capital city is a big part of that.

Our sincere thanks to the organisers, Tourism Awards – South West, all the sponsors, and Truro Cathedral for hosting such a great awards ceremony. Massive congratulations also go to our fellow medal winners in the Small Visitor Attraction category, Penlee House Gallery & Museum and St Nectan’s Glen.

But the good news doesn’t end there. Our success at the Cornwall Tourism Awards means we’ve been put forward for the national VisitEngland Awards in our category of Best Small Visitor Attraction. The finalists will be announced in March.

Thanks to everyone who has visited so far this year and joined us on our journey. More exciting developments coming soon – watch this space!
