Autumn Celebration – October Half Term
Things are about to get cosy at the museum, with a week of autumnal crafting, storytelling and family theatre this October half term.
Enjoy autumn-themed crafting in the Nature Gallery all week, with cosy colouring and seasonal decoration making.
We’re also helping to keep an endangered craft alive by making Corn Dollies – traditionally made to mark the end of the harvest – to tie in with the end of the exhibition, Cornish Myths & Legends.
Plus, go on autumnal adventures with storytelling sessions and family theatre.
All Week:
- Slow down and unwind together with autumn-themed colouring
- Craft some seasonal decorations to take home
- Learn how to make a Corn Dolly
- Last chance to embark on the Mini Mythical Creatures Trail and visit the Cornish Myths & Legends exhibition
Set Times:
- Enjoy family theatre with C-Scape’s The Lost Words on Wednesday 28th October at 11am & 2pm. Bookings required. Child tickets free, Adult tickets £6
- Settle in for Tales Around The Toadstool storytelling sessions in collaboration with our friends at Truro Library. Sessions at 1pm on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, Thursday 29th & Friday 30th
Under 18s visit the museum free, and Adult Annual Passes are £10.
